If you are paraprashing, putting the information of a source into your own words, then you should cite. Or, if you have used information from your sources to create an opinion or thought, then yes you should cite.  Rule of thumb, if you didn’t know the information before you read your source, then cite the source.  

There is a great online guide for citing sources at Purdue University that can provide more guidance about paraprashing and summarizing. Just check the left-hand navigation bar for specifics.
