The Writing Center is a place where students can get help with academic, professional, and creative writing. Writing Center consultants are careful readers and listeners. As such, they will not edit papers, but will instead offer strategies for revision and help identify errors. They help with any type of writing at any stage of the writing process, including brainstorming, drafting, revising, and polishing.

We’re here to empower students to succeed in their classes. Our support is free to all currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff. For more information check out our About Us page.

To request assistance with your writing projects, you can:

  • Meet with us in person or remotely by making an appointment, or
  • Submit your papers to our online feedback service for a response within 12 hours via Tutor.com in Blackboard.
