Online Guides

If you need an easy, quick online guide to citing your sources, here are a few that can help you with most of your questions. They have different examples, so you might find one is easier for you to understand.

Citation Generators

Looking for a quick fix? You can try automatic citation generators for this. The Library has citation shortcuts in most of our databases, so if you're using our resources just look for a "cite" link like this one:

The best free online citation generator we have found is ZoteroBib. It's made by the same nonprofit that creates the Zotero citation manager software. If you decide to use it, be sure to double-check the results. It's usually accurate, but you're the one getting a grade!

Citation and Writing Help

If you need help with other citation styles or have more specific questions these guides don't answer, you're welcome to contact CWI Library and/or contact the CWI Writing Center.

CWI Writing Center has many writing-related guides beyond citation styles.
