On the CWI website, look for the "Log In" dropdown on the top right and move your mouse over it to view your options. Choose "Student Email."

Learning how to use the "Reply" function in your student email will be helpful to keep all emails in the same conversation in one place. First, find the email you want to reply to and open it. New emails you have not read before will look like this:

Emails you have opened will look like this instead:

Once you click on the email to open it, you will see the full email. It may look something like this image. Pay attention to the 4 places labelled in the picture:

  1. The "Reply" button will send a message back to the person that sent you the email.
  2. If the person that sent the original email sent it to more than one person, "Reply all" will send a reply message to everyone that received the first email. As a student, you may not use this function very often, but it can be more common to use this function at certain jobs.
  3. "Forward" will send a copy of the email you received to someone else. One way you may use this as a student is if you received an email from your instructor and want to send an exact copy of that email to a classmate.
  4. There are also "Reply" and "Forward" button here at the bottom of the email.

Once you decide if you should "Reply," "Reply all," or "Forward" the email, it works just like a normal email. See "How do I send an email from my student email?" for more help.
