To ensure students get all the support they need, we have partnered with Upswing to use their scheduling platform. However, Upswing also hires tutors that can help CWI students in online appointments. Here are the key difference between the two types of tutors:

CWI tutors are available to help you by appointment or by drop-in, in-person or online. CWI tutors are more generally familiar with the courses and assignments than Upswing's tutors are. CWI tutors are a great option if your schedule allows you to meet with them.

Upswing tutors are also available by appointment or by drop-in, but only work online. Upswing's tutors are content experts, but they are not as familiar with the specifics of CWI. Upswing tutors are a great option if your schedule is more limited, if you need to meet outside of Tutoring Services' working hours, or if CWI does not currently have a tutor for the class you are taking.

Both types of tutor are committed to your academic success, so choose the tutor that works best for you and your schedule!
